“To be a role model Squadron within Dorset & Wiltshire Wing, develop cadets & staff to reach their potential, be a positive influence within the community, and embody the RAFAC ethos, values and standards, achieved through organised management & leadership, strategic planning and continuous improvement”.

Since our squadron re-opened in 2016 we have been building on the activities we do and training provided, bringing in to the staff team experienced ex-cadets, service instructors and civilians new to the RAFAC which offer new skills, in April 2018 we restarted our squadron Easter adventure training camps which historically had become a core part of our identity. As OC during this period we must thank Flt Lt J Gillespie for guiding the squadron and making this possible.

Now under the guidance of our caretaker OC, WO A Smith, we hope to increase our cadet and uniformed members of staff numbers to be able to improve the quality of our activities, adding extra challenges, and more enjoyment for our cadets. If you'd like to be a part of this as a cadet or staff member please look at our Join Us pages and contact us.

As we look towards the future and the appointment of our next permanent OC we've developed a squadron vision and strategy which we believe will take our squadron to the next step, develop all our squadron members to achieve their potential, and make the squadron once more an integral part of this community.
